Felt Guard Masking Tape is designed to cover window felt strips, seals, and interior trim parts like speakers.

It provides reliable protection against felt gasket contamination during tint installation.

Available in 1" and 2" widths.

Note: Some vehicles have lubricated felt gaskets that may prevent the tape from sticking. To resolve this, spray firm-hold hair spray, let it dry, and then apply our Felt Guard Tape.

Works on some seals. I tried spraying hair spray on the seals and it helped a little bit

Very useful for taping side seals but doesn’t stick if surface gets a little wet. Could be a bit wider. Very easy to tear off the amount you need without needing a knife.

I was hesitant about this stuff at first, but have come to really like working with it. Has good tack while cleaning and applying film, and leaves no residue or small pieces when removing it from felt.

Please note that some vehicles have lubricated felt gaskets, which can make it difficult for tape to adhere properly.
A simple solution is to spray firm-hold hair spray on the gasket, allow it to dry completely, and then apply our felt guard tape.

Make sure the felt is completely dry before applying. Some vehicles use felt with a slippery coating that can make it hard for tape to stick. A good trick is to spray the area with firm-hold hair spray, let it dry, then apply the tape for better adhesion.
